Austrian automotive supply company Magna Steyr has announced plans to introduce the MILA Coupic concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week.
Designed to highlight the company's engineering prowess, the concept is essentially a crossover coupe with a panoramic sunroof. It has a novel roof system comprised of two modules that consists of an unconventional combination of glass and cloth panels. The front and rear roof panels can also be opened independently of each other, giving the MILA Coupic an even more adaptable form.
Inside, the cabin has a five-seat interior, but the rear seat can be folded forward, creating a wall between the “cab” and the bed. Magna Steyr says the rear seat module effectively prevents rain and dirt from entering the cockpit.
More details will be unveiled next week.
