Ford B-Max to debut in in Barcelona

Ford has recently announced the all-new B-Max will be revealed at the 2012 Mobile World Congress on February 27, which takes place in Barcelona.

Stephen Odell, chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe, said “Revealing the B-MAX at Mobile World Congress underlines how important technology is to customers and to Ford. B-MAX will raise the bar for small vehicles in Europe, combining technology and premium engineering into a compact frame.”

Even if the model is revealed earlier than we expected, it will still be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

As a reminder, the B-Max comes with the B-pillars integrated into the sliding doors, which the American carmaker called "Easy Access Doors". The design allows for 1.5 m (close to 5 feet) wide unobstructed openings on either side of the B-segment multi-activity vehicle.

The Ford B-MAX is expected to come with a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder direct injection EcoBoost turbo engine with 98 and 123 hp, along with a wide range of diesel engines.
