Euro-spec Subaru BRZ and Impreza 5-door coming to Geneva

Subaru has announced the BRZ sports car and the Impreza five-door will make their official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

According to the Japanese carmaker, the European-spec fourth generation Impreza 5-door will be shown for the first time. It will be equipped with a 1.6-liter petrol boxer engine. Further details, performance figures and pricing will be announced in Geneva.

Next, the BRZ is a 2 2 sport coupe co-developed with Toyota and has been originally presented at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show in November last year. It has a Subaru developed horizontally opposed 2.0-liter engine with 197 hp and 205 Nm of torque.

The Subaru BRZ is going on sale in Japan right now and will launch in the United States in spring. Meanwhile, European pricing and market launch date will wait until its unveiling in Geneva.
