A Ferrari FF has recently caught fire on a highway in China for no obvious reason.
According to TheTruthAboutCars, the four-wheel drive supercar was driving down Shi Bo Avenue in Shanghai, when smoke began to billow out from underneath the supercar followed by flames. Emergency services arrived on the scene quickly and extinguished the fire, but damages to the vehicle were still pretty severe. No one was hurt in the incident.
Ferrari China has announced it will open an investigation on this incident. This is exactly the same type of problem encountered by the 458 Italia before its recall, which saw 10 units spontaneously combust within a period of three months back in 2010.
