Cadillac has officially announced the ATS will be debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6.
Set to go on sale in Europe this autumn, the ATS is powered by a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated inline-four engine with 200 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque, allowing the 1,542 kg car to return an average of 30 mpg on the highway. In addition, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder direct injected turbocharged engine also available, which is generating 270 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque
“The ATS ticks all the right boxes for European customers,“ said Wolfgang Schubert, Cadillac Europe Managing Director. “It is stylish, quick, nimble and great fun to drive. We are very excited to be adding this superb vehicle to our product portfolio. It has all the right credentials to seriously challenge the status quo in the premium compact segment.”
The Cadillac ATS has a starting price of €30,000.
