Legendary Italian design firm Bertone has released the first official images and details of the Nuccio Concept, ahead of its world premiere at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.
Made to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary, the concept has been created by Bertone Design Director, Michael Robinson and is named in honour of Giuseppe Nuccio Bertone, former owner of the Turinese design house.
No details of what powers or underpins this car have been released, but Bertone says that the Nuccio is an 'extreme' sportscar, an evolution of the mid-rear engined, rear-wheel drive berlinetta design from the ‘70s, with a completely new look.
Besides the Geneva Motor Show next month, the Bertone Nuccio Concept will be shipped to Beijing for the local auto show in April, the Turin National Car Museum in May, the Laguna Seca in the US in August and then to the Florence event in Italy in September.
