2013 Mazda CX-5 priced from $21,490

Mazda has announced the 2013 CX-5 will start at $21,490, including the $795 destination fee.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the new CX-5 is available in three trim levels: Sport ($21,490 for front-wheel drive), Touring ($24,690 for the front-wheel drive) and Grand Touring ($27,840 for the front-wheel drive). The car is powered by Mazda’s new 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline 4-cylinder engine with 155 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 150 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. The unit can be mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox or to a six-speed manual transmission.
Standard features include the power windows, six airbags, the 5.8-inch color info screen, daytime running lights, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), a Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Launch Assist, a collapsible steering column and fold-away brake pedal assembly, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), three-point safety belts for all seating positions and 17-inch rims.
