BMW has announced the pricing for the 2013 X3 in the United States.
First up, the X3 xDrive28i has a starting price of $37,995 (including $895 destination and handling) and features a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with 240 hp at 5,000 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 209km/h. The model returns 7.5-liter/100 km (31.3 mpg US or 37.8 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 175 g/km.
Meanwhile, the larger X3 xDrive35i will cost $43,595 and is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are being mated to the company’s eight-speed automatic transmission, which is backed up by an all-wheel drive system.
Some new equipment on the 2013 BMW X3 include an Auto Start Stop system, Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO, 18-inch wheels, chrome tailpipes tips and a power tailgate to the standard equipment to both the xDrive28i and xDrive35i models.
The 2013 BMW X3 will enter production in South Carolina and arrives in showrooms this April.
