Acura has revealed the 2013 RDX to media at the Chicago Auto Show today.
According to the carmaker, it is the first time the model has been revealed in a full production form after the pre-production prototype was showcased earlier this year in Detroit.
The 2013 Acura RDX is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine with 273 hp that’s available in either front- or all-wheel drive, mated to a lighter six-speed automatic that features a lock-up torque converter. Acura says that the FWD version delivers a fuel economy of 20 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, while the AWD model are 19 mpg and 27 mpg.

Production will start at the company's East Liberty plant in Ohio.
