Nissan has unveiled the 2012 NV200 at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
Available in the US later this year, the NNV200 compact cargo van has a maximum payload capacity of 680 kg, 186.2-inch in overall length (a 7.9-inch extended body compared to models sold in other markets) and 115.2-inch wheelbase.
“There is an increasing need for a ‘right-sized’ van that optimizes cargo space while offering the best possible fuel economy and affordable price – the exact sweet spots of innovative new Nissan NV200”, said the vice president for Nissan Commercial Vehicles and Fleet, Joe Castelli.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which is mated to an Xtronic CVT transmission.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the 2012 Nissan NV200 is already sold in over 40 countries.
