2012 Kia Soul Red Rock Special Edition launched

Kia has recently launched the Soul Red Rock Special Edition in the United States.

Inspired by the rock formations in the southwest United States, the special edition comes with a distinctive exterior color called canyon, while the interior gets black leather trim and brown cloth seats. We must admit that this version is quite attractive.

“The wildly popular Soul has been a game-changer for Kia since it arrived in 2009, and our series of special editions over the past three years have added individualism and exclusivity to an already fun and youthful vehicle. Style and flair are key to Soul’s success, and the Red Rock Special Edition, which has plenty of both, will help drive sales into 2012”, said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing and communications, KMA.

The Korean carmaker says that the 2012 Soul Red Rock Special Edition is still powered by a 1.6-liter GDI engine, which allows it to average 35 mpg highway.

Prices for the 2012 Kia Red Rock Special Edition Soul start at $21,350, including a $750 destination charge.
