Holden has recently revealed the first details about the 2012 Colorado, ahead of its launch in the middle of this year.
Available in three body styles in Australia (single cab, space cab and crew cab), all models will feature airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, the large alloy wheels and sporty mirrors.
For the interior, Holden says the cabin will feature air conditioning, power windows and Bluetooth/iPod/USB connectivity.
Under the hood, the 2012 Colorado comes with a choice of two four-cylinder diesel engines, the 2.5-liter produces 148 hp and 350 Nm of torque, paired to a five-speed manual gearbox and boasts a 3,000 kg towing capacity. The 2.8-liter DOHC engine develops 177 hp and 470 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic and has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 kg.
