Mercedes S65 AMG crashed in St Petersburg


A Mercedes S65 AMG has recently crashed in Russia. In the icy conditions and at a speed of 200 km/h, the driver of the S65 lost lost control of the vehicle and it hit the fence of a Lada dealership.

According to CarLifeBlog, this accident happened in the Russian city of St Petersburg when the S65 AMG returned from a wedding and very likely a lot of vodka and other alcohol was consumed. Luckily all passengers were able escape the wreckage with only minor injuries.

As a reminder, the Mercedes S65 AMG is powered by a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine with 612 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
