McLaren F1 successor to use a 800 hp engine

According to a new report from Carmagazine, the McLaren F1 successor will be powered by a 3.8-liter V8 twin turbo engine with 800hp.

The report also said that this engine will be backed up by a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) that can give the supercar short bursts of added performance. Besides, the car will ride on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis which is actually similar to the one used on the MP4-12C, but it will be lighter and more advanced.

Expected, the McLaren F1 successor will start at €750,000.
