Land Rover Defender Blaser Edition revealed in Germany


Land Rover has teamed up with Blaser to offer a special edition Defender in Germany, called the "Blaser Edition."

Based on the Defender 110 SE double cab, the special edition is painted in Keswick Green and has an expedition roof rack, a trailer hitch, electric winch, grille guard, snorkel air intake, rear spot light, Blaser logos on front doors and spare tire cover, black leather seats with green stitching and embroidered Argali logo in the headrests and a custom fitted gun case as a main attraction.

Power comes from Land Rover's latest Euro-5 compliant 2.2-liter turbo diesel (with particulate filter) engine, which is developing 122 hp and 360 Nm of torque.

According to the British carmaker, the Defender Blaster Edition will debut at at Europe's largest trade fair for hunting and fishing in Dortmund, “Jagd & Hund” (Hunter & Dog) from 31 January.

Only 60 units will be made and prices will start at €49,500.
