A super-rare Jaguar XJ220S is set for auction at the RM Auctions event taking place in Arizona this week and has an estimated value of $225,000 - $300,000.
Based on the regular Jaguar XJ220, this XJ220S is one of only six units ever built with the help of Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR). The model was also treated to a front splitter, wider sills and an adjustable rear spoiler.
The XJ220S comes with a tweaked version of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine 680 hp and 712 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. But thanks to a $20,000 titanium exhaust system by TWR, it’s more like 700 hp.
