Bentley has officially unveiled the GTC V8 Convertible, ahead of its debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
According to the British based carmaker, the model features a black gloss matrix grille with chrome frame and center bar, a dark lower valance and a red enamel Bentley ‘B’ badge. There's also chromed ‘figure eight’ exhaust tailpipes and 20-inch alloy wheels as standard with an optional 21 inch six-spoke design.
Power comes from an twin-turbo V8 engine with 507 hp at 6,000 rpm and 660 Nm of torque between 1,700 and 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a new close-ratio eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 303 km/h.
In Europe, prices start at €149,600.
