Ford has released the first pictures of the 2013 Mondeo in Europe.
We already knew that the European Mondeo and the American Fusion are one and the same, but the Mondeo will be distinguished by a monotone rear fascia, restyled headlights with LED turn signals and and the plastic between the exhaust tips has been painted in body color.
According to the carmaker, the model will be offered with two engine options: a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine with 179 hp and a 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 237 hp. In addition, we can also expect a choice of diesel units that will likely include Ford's 1.6-, 2.0- and 2.2-liter four-pot TDCIs.
The 2013 Ford Mondeo will be introduced in the European markets early next year.
