Ford has unveiled the all-new 2013 Ford Fusion (sold as a Modeo in Europe) today at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
Designed to do battle with segment leaders Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, the non-hybrid Fusion will be offered with a choice of three gasoline engines: a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with 170 hp, a 1.6-liter EcoBoost with 179 hp and a 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 237 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque.
The 1.6-liter model represents the first time Ford has offered an automatic-transmission with an automatic start stop system and will deliver best in class economy figures of 26 mpg city and 37 mpg highway.
