Volvo will revive the legendary P1800


According to Volvo’s design director Christopher Benjamin, the company is planning a revival for the legendary P1800.

The carmaker has released the sketches on its site. As you can see in the images, the upcoming P1800 has a rounded grille, an elongated bonnet and huge rims, along with an appealing overall design.

As a reminder, the Volvo P1800 was produced from 1961 to 1973 and is powered by a choice of two engines. The model is 4,400 mm long, 1,700 mm wide and 1,285 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and a total weight of 1,175 kg.
