Like the Toyota GT-86 and the Subaru BRZ, the Scion FR-S is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 197 hp at 7,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque at 6,600 rpm, mated to either a six-speed manual short-shifter or a six-speed automatic. Meanwhile, the Subaru BRZ will be more powerful with a total of 300 hp.
