Nissan has announced plans to offer a special edition of the X-Trail in the United Kingdom.
Named the X-Trail Platinum, the model is distinguished by revised bumpers, chrome side steps and door protection mouldings.
Inside, the cabin gets leather upholstery, electrically adjustable heated front seats, a rearview camera and a new touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation and Bluetooth / iPod connectivity.
Power comes from a 2.0dCi diesel engine with a choice of either manual or automatic transmissions. Nissan says that the engine is developing a total output of 170 hp and returns 44.1 mpg UK.
Only 200 units will be produced and pricing starts at £29,180.
