Koenigsegg CCX crashes on Long Island


A Koenigsegg CCX was crashed last Saturday on Long Island, New York. The hypercar appears to have left the road after contact towards the front of its door panel.

It seems that the crash took place Berry Hill Road and Rodeo Drive intersection near Syosset. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

According to Luxury4Play, the supercar is believed to be owned by a local car collector, known for his passion towards Koenigsegg.

As a reminder, the Koenigsegg CCX is powered by a 4.7-liter twin-supercharged V8 engine with 806 hp and 919 Nm of torque, allowing the exotic car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of approximately 400 km/h.
