Kia Optima K5 launched in Malaysia


Kia has recently launched the Optima K5 in Malaysia.

According to the Korean carmaker, the model comes with auto-leveling HID xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, LED rear combination lamps, 10-spoke alloy wheels, rear lip spoiler, gull-wing folding side mirrors and a single tailpipe.

Inside, the cabin has a supervision cluster, multifunction four-spoke steering wheel, auto cruise control, six-CD changer audio system with eight speakers (Infinity), Aux / iPod / USB connectivity, panoramic glass sunroof and push-button start / stop. There's also rear view camera, LCD display monitor, electric driver’s seat, six airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, brake assist and hill-start assist control.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter Theta II MPI engine with 165 hp at 6,200 rpm, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission but there’s no word on performance yet. Starting price is RM143,888.
