Honda has confirmed plans to introduce a concept version of the new generation NSX at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January.
According to Autoexpress, the concept will be shown as an Acura, the company’s North American arm, but the model will come as a Honda when it arrives in the UK.
Power will come from a 3.5-liter V6 driving one axle and a pair of in-wheel electric motors to turn the other. This means the model will have four-wheel drive and a hybrid layout, with a total output of over 400 hp.
The new generation Honda NSX is expected to make its debut sometimes in 2013.
