According to a new report from Autobild, Citroen is developing a new DS1 as a competitor for the Fiat 500.
Set to go on sale in 2013, the model will likely be provided by a variety of three-cylinder engines sourced from the BMW. The gasoline engine will have outputs of 68 to 100 hp, while the diesel will develop 70 hp. There's also a GTi variant with 130 hp.
The report also said that the Citroen DS1 will be built in Czech Republic and a study could be introduced at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
