According to Insideline, the 4C will come with exterior panels made from sheet-molded composites and could be priced at $45,000 or even less.
Power comes from a 230 hp 1.8-liter turbo engine, which is essentially the same as for the Giulietta. The curb weight of the car is targeted at 1,980 lbs, thanks to using lightweight materials and the 4C is of similar size to the Lotus Elise.
The Alfa Romeo 4C accelerates from 0-96 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds and 18.000 units will be developed over its lifetime.
