Ford Racing has introduced the 2013 Cobra Jet Mustang at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Orlando, Florida.
Designed for NHRA Stock and Super Stock competition, the model has a lighter body, a revised suspension and electric power steering for better drivability. There's also a new roll cage design and an upgraded braking system for improved pedal feel.
Two 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engines are available. Buyers can choose either a naturally-aspirated engine with Cobra Jet induction system or a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger.
The 2013 Cobra Jet production is limited to only 50 units and pricing starts at $85,490 (€63,390).
