Volvo has released the first official teaser image of the 2012 V40, ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show .
According to the carmaker, the V40 will likely be offered with a new range of four-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines, and it will compete with the five-door versions of the BMW 1-Series and the Audi A3 Sportback.
