2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid priced from $26,610


Hyundai has recently announced pricing information for the 2012 Sonata Hybrid.

Accordingly, the 2012 Sonata Hybrid has been priced at $26,610 for the entry-level version, including a $760 destination fee. That's a $55 increase over the 2011 model.

The Korean carmaker says that the hybrid version doesn’t come with any mechanical or cosmetic modifications, but it has been added the Blue Link telematics system the car's standard equipment.

Optional features like the leather package that offers leather seating surfaces, steering wheel and shift knob, auto-dimming rear view mirror, heated front and rear seats.

Power comes from a hybrid powertrain that combines a 169 hp 2.4-liter Atkinson-cycle engine, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, a 30 kW electric motor and a lithium polymer battery. The model returns an estimated EPA of 40 mpg (5.9-liter / 100 km) on the highway, 35 mpg (6.7-liter / 100 km) in the city and 37 mpg (6.4-liter / 100 km) combined.
