2012 Honda Crosstour coming with four-cylinder engine


Honda has announced plans to offer the 2012 Crosstour with a four-cylinder engine in the United States.

Accordingly, the 2012 Crosstour will feature a new 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 192 hp and 219 Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, allowing the model to return 21 mpg city / 29 mpg highway.

Honda says that the 2012 Crosstour will be available in two trim levels and both models are equipped with automatic headlights, a moonroof, privacy glass and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin gets air conditioning, power windows and locks, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and a seven-speaker audio system.

Meanwhile, the EX-L variant comes with heated front seats, leather upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The 2012 Honda Crosstour is expected to start at less than $30,000.
