Varley Electric Vehicles has announced that its new evR450 will be officially launched early next year.
Described as Australia's first electric supercar, the evR450 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 200 km/h. The supercar will have a range of approximately 150 km, but it will be offered in two variants and a other variant is expected to travel up to 300 km
As planned, the electric vehicle will be priced below $200,000 AUD (US$207,120).
