Suzuki has announced plans to introduce the Regina and the Q concepts at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.
The Regina has a total weight of just 730 kg and embodies Suzuki's vision of "a next-generation global compact car with excellent fuel efficiency and low emissions thanks to lightness and superior aerodynamics." Power comes from an undisclosed engine which enables the concept to return a fuel economy of at least 32 km/liter and CO2 emissions of 70 g/km.
The Q-concept measures just 2,500 mm long, 1,300 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall. The company says the vehicle offers "an entirely new kind of mobility — one that’s positioned between conventional motorcycles and cars". Power comes from an electric motor that provides an estimated range of 50 km and hit a top speed of 60 km/h.
