Daihatsu has announced plans to introduce the D-X concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The concept measures 3,395 mm long, 1,475 mm wide and 1,275 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,230 mm. It has a resin body and a 0.66-liter 2-cylinder engine with direct-injection and turbocharging technologies that strikes a "balance between the joy of driving and fuel-efficiency."
According to the Japanese automaker, the D-X can easily be transformed into four different type of vehicles simply by swapping out parts of its body.
