BMW ActiveHybrid 5 coming to Tokyo Motor Show

BMW has announced plans to present the ActiveHybrid 5 at the Tokyo Motor Show on November 30.
The ActiveHybrid 5 will feature a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo engine with 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque, along with an electric motor has 56 hp and 210 Nm. So, a total output is configured at 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while averaging 6.4-liter/100 km.
The BMW ActiveHybrid 5 is expected go on sale in the spring 2012 in the U.S.
