2013 Volkswagen CC Facelift unveiled


Volkswagen has unveiled the 2013 CC 4-door coupe ahead of its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month and goes on sale at U.S. dealers in the spring next year.

On the outside, the new CC has a redesigned hood, a reworked bumper, a revised lower air dam and a new chrome-trimmed grille. There's also HID Xenon headlamps, new LED tail lamp and alloy wheel.

Inside, the cabin features a standard steering wheel, a new Phaeton-style analogue clock on the dashboard, a fatigue detection system, RCD 310 radio-CD system, stainless steel door sill plates, safety head restraints and and optional brown trim.

In addition, the 2013 CC is also equipped a range of new assistance systems like Side Assist Plus with integrated Lane Assist, Dynamic Light Assist and and a camera-based traffic sign detection system.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine with 200 hp or a 3.6-liter FSI V6 petrol engine with 280 hp.

In Europe, the CC is equipped with several TDI diesel engines ranging in output from 140 hp to 170 hp. A Stop/Start system and battery regeneration mode are standard.
