2012 Porsche 911 will debut in Los Angeles


Porsche has announced it plans to introduce two interesting versions of the 2012 911 at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.

As we already know, the 2012 Porsche 911 has already been revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will now make its US unveiling for the first time.

First, the Carrera comes with a 3.4-liter boxer engine with 345 horsepower, allowing the sports car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.4 seconds (4.2 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package) and hit a top speed of 288 km/h, while burning 8.2-liter of fuel per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 194 g/km.

Lastly, the Carrera S is equipped by a 3.8-liter boxer engine with 394 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-96 km.h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the SC package) and hit a top speed of 302 km/h, while burning 8.7-liter of fuel per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 206 g/km.
