2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition coming to Los Angeles Auto Show

Dodge has revealed a special edition of the Charger SRT8, called the Super Bee Edition, ahead of its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16.

Based on the 1968 Dodge Scat Pack, the Super Bee Edition will be available in two colors: Stinger Yellow or Pitch Black, both of which get contrasting graphics. The yellow car comes with satin black graphics on the hood and boot lid, while the black car has charcoal gray graphics in the same places.


Other features include a rear spoilers in matte black, some Bee graphics for the exterior and new 20-inch wheels with black painted pockets, while inside the cabin gets Z-stripe cloth performance seats with yellow and silver striping and embroidered Super Bee logos on each of the front seat headrests.

Dodge said that the 2012 Charger SRT8 Super Bee Edition is still powered by the same engine which is developing 470 hp and sales will start early next year.
