Along with the Passat Alltrack, Volkswagen has unveiled the Cross Coupe concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
As you see, the Cross Coupe has a distinctive grille, a sloping roofline and bi-xenon headlights. Inside, the cabin has a programmable instrument cluster and an advanced infotainment system. There's also gloss black trim, aluminum accents and leather seats.
Power come from three sources: a 148 hp 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine, a 54 hp electric motor on the front axle and a 114 hp electric motor on the rear axle. Combined output is 265 hp, allowing the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 km/h. The Cross Coupe returns 2.7-liter/100 km (87 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 62 g/km.
