2011 Tokyo: Honda Small Sports EV Concept

On the first press day at the Tokyo Motor Show, Honda has unveiled the EV-STER, a small sportscar concept with roadster looks.
According to the Japanese automaker, the model is very compact and measures just 3,570 mm long, 1,500 mm wide and 1,100 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,325 mm.
The EV-STER makes use of carbon materials to keep the model as lightweight as possible. Power is provided by a 10kWh lithium-ion battery, allowing the roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds and hit a top speed of 160 km/h. The battery can be fully charged in 3 hours using a 200V outlet.
Highlights is a system that allows the driver to control the power output and suspension settings.
