2011 SEMA: Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe

An another concept of Hyundai at the 2011 SEMA Show - the Genesis Hurricane SC Coupe.

Developed in collaboration between Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc, the concept has an aggressive Rhis Millen aerodynamic package, a Bilstein suspension, Brembo brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels with Hankook high performance tires size 245/40 at the front and 275/35 at the rear. There's also a Harman Lexicon audio system, a Katzkin leather finish and suede seats accented with blue inserts.

Thanks to a supercharger, a liquid to air intercooler and a free flowing sport exhaust system, the 3.8-liter V6 engine now produces over 450 hp.

HATCI senior engineer David Dutko said "The HATCI and Magnuson supercharger demonstrates the high-performance potential of Genesis Coupe's V6 engine. Our HATCI engineers have been working for years with Magnuson to ensure high engine output is available on future Hyundai vehicles."
