Yesterday, Lamborghini has unveiled the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.
According to the Italian automaker, the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder is a convertible variant of the rear-wheel drive Gallardo LP 550-2 that has been on sale for nearly two years.
Like the coupe, the spyder is equipped by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 550 hp and and 398 lb-ft of torque. Power is channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed e-gear transmission, allowing the 1,520 kg supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 319 km/h.
First sales are scheduled to start next year.
