Ford has presented the 2012 Focus ST to the North American public in Los Angeles.
The new generation of the Focus ST is powered by Ford Motor Company’s 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder turbo engine with a total output of 247 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to the six-speed manual transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.
Meanwhile, the North American automaker says that it will announce details about the performance, fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, standard features and price close to its launch date.
The 2012 Ford Focus ST will go on sale in the United States early next year.
