Porsche Confirms Cajun for Late 2013

As part of a €500 million investment into the Leipzig plant, Porsche has confirmed that this plant will debut the production of the Cajun in late 2013.
Based on the Audi Q5, the company says that the crossover will compete with the BMW X3, Mercedes GLK and Range Rover Evoque.
Engine options will likely include a 220 hp 2.0-liter TFSI as well as a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 300 hp and 350 hp. On the diesel side, there are rumors of a 200 hp 2.0-liter TDI as well as a 3.0-liter V6 TDI with 250 hp and 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS). The hybrid version should include a 208 hp 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine and a 44 hp electric motor.
