To convert the V12 engine for the GL500, MKB has modified the gearbox, the electronic control systems and four-wheel drive system. As a result, the car is equipped by a V12 twin-turbo engine with 668 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. This allows the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 270 km/h.
The conversion takes up to six month with a price-tag of €217,568, excluding the price of the original vehicle.
