The one-seat model is reportedly designed for limited journeys. The concept will be more efficient than the XL1 Super Efficient Vehicle, a diesel-electric plug-in hybrid unveiled in January, which averaged 0.9-liter/100 km and CO2 emissions of 24 g/km.
The car will be unveiled on September 8 in Berlin.
