Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe Show

After reporting the latest details yesterday, Speedfans.fr have published the first photos of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe in red.

The car was snapped during a test event at Circuit Paul Ricard in one of the garages ahead of its debut at the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt. Unfortunately, it is not as hardcore as the previous generation CLK 63 AMG Black Series. Not only is it the first Black Series to have four seats, the sports car is more focussed to the road than the track. Only 20kg has been shed from the total weight and the vehicle.

The Black Series Coupe is equipped by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 517 hp and 640 Nm of torque, 30 hp more than the C63 AMG with the Performance Package. It is linked to a seven-speed ‘Speedshift’ MCT automatic transmission with a limited slip differential. Despite no official specs released, but we expect a 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds.

Interestingly, the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will not be limited in production and Expected price tag is €100,000 in Germany.
