BMW will release special editions of the 1-Series and 3-Series to honor the 2012 London Olympics next year.
The Performance package for the 1-Series includes an M aerodynamic kit, dark-chrome 18-inch M light alloy wheels, high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, dark-chrome exhaust tailpipe and dark-line rear lights. Besides, the 1-Series special is equipped an M Sport Suspension, an M Sport steering wheel and gearshifter, as well as floor mats with Royal Blue piping. The car comes adorned with London 2012 exterior badges as souvenirs on them.
The 3-Series performance package will also be more or less the same. Both models could offer considerable savings for the buyer in comparison with a similarly equipped series model.
