Here are the first shots of the 2013 Aston Martin DB9. Caught in competitive testing with Ferrari 599 and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
While much of the car is obscured by camouflage, we can see a ventilated hood and Virage-style headlights. Out back, there's an aggressive rear fascia, side mirrors that stand farther away from the doors, a large decklid spoiler, a dual exhaust system and more aerodynamic stalks.
A glimpse of the interior, but most of it is borrowed from the current model. We can see a new steering wheel and a revised instrument cluster with larger gauges.
Details are limited, but we wouldn't be surprised if the car was equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 470 hp. Transmissions will likely include a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
