2012 Mercedes M-Class Officially Unveiled

Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2012 M-Class. The car will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, before delivering to customers in the U.S. later this year.

Compared to the previous generation, the 2012 M-Class features a wider grille, new taillights and 17- to 21-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the interior has been significantly improved with higher quality materials, an updated COMAND system and an optional panoramic sunroof.


Customers have three engine options:

- The ML 250 Bluetec is equipped by a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, capacity of 201 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

- The ML 350 Bluetec is equipped by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, capacity of 254 hp and 619 Nm of torque. The engine will allow the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and reached a top speed of 224 km/h.

- The ML350 BlueEfficiency is equipped by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, capacity of 302 hp and 370 Nm of torque, along with a top speed of 235 km/h.

All engines are paired to a 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and 4WD system. The 2012 Mercedes M-Class can be equipped the latest technology, most modern, including Pedestrian Warning System, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Park Assist and Distronic Plus.

The 2012 Mercedes M-Class will be launched this fall, but prices have not been disclosed.
